BLAUBLUT EDITION
Blaublut Edition is the premier European archive for contemporary photography, representing the most recognized fashion, beauty and life-style photographers.
From avant garde, surrealist moments and provocative points of view to elegant intimacy and expressions of longing and seduction, women are the focal point in the selection for LUMAS. What unifies these images is the mysterious narrative embedded in visual excellence. Inspiring, elegant and erotic, each image takes us on an exciting journey into the world of staged photography.
Iris Brosch
German photographer and director Iris Brosch splits her time between New York and Paris. She found international recognition for her strong and dignified take on femininity in the world of fashion photography. Her style has been described as “Miuccia Prada meets Leonardo da Vinci”. She always enriches the classic and the timeless with a touch of originality. In her photos, Brosch celebrates sensual femininity while fascinating us with a fresh look. Although we feel as if we have seen them before somewhere, the photos are still entirely unique, appearing like historical paintings that are, without a doubt, simultaneously modern. Iris Brosch has worked for Valentino, Campari, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, The New York Times, Esquire, and InStyle. She has directed films for Chanel and Escada. As a freelance artist, Iris Brosch is regularly featured in exhibitions: She performed a piece entitled “Woman and Nature” at the Venice Biennale in 2013.
